Isn't it great to think that while you climb further up the Caucasus mountain, it brings nothing but joy to your heart? Almost as if you are in some fantastical story, how great! The colors of the world, without exception put on optimism and all the things which seemed impossible, in fact, are possible. Or rather, it appears as if you have been transported to a land where you can explore anything and everything; a land filled with many thrilling adventures. It feels all worth it in this appreciation of the present moment and all the beauty that it comes with.

Droning shots over WTP Mestia is simply out of this world! We are totally excited to have been engaged in this project and the final outcome couldn’t be more satisfactory. Just looking at the beautiful landscape and the effort that was put into this project, makes us so happy and appreciative.

Once you arrive, the town’s charm immediately wraps around you like a soft blanket. Seti Square, the small heart of Mestia, radiates warmth and familiarity. Stone buildings with carved wooden balconies surround the square, and children laugh as they chase each other across the cobblestones. Local vendors display hand-woven crafts and colorful souvenirs, and the occasional cow meanders through the square, adding a touch of rustic magic. The air carries a faint aroma of freshly baked bread and mountain herbs, inviting you to pause, breathe, and soak in the rhythm of everyday life in Svaneti.

For a taste of true Svanetian culture, Café Laila is a treasure not to be missed. Step inside, and the cozy interior instantly makes you feel at home, the flicker of a fireplace warms the room, wooden beams are adorned with local crafts, and the scent of simmering khachapuri and spiced stews fills the air. In the evening, the café comes alive with music: the soulful melodies of folk instruments, the rhythmic clapping of locals, and the energetic swirl of dancers in traditional dress. You can’t help but join in, tapping your feet or clapping along, feeling a connection to the land and its people that is both timeless and unforgettable.

Every bite of food here tells a story, rich, hearty flavors that reflect centuries of mountain tradition. The hospitality is genuine and heartfelt; the staff greet you with warm smiles, offering advice on local sights or simply sharing a laugh over a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
